We’re excited to announce our very first Little Learners Love Literacy© (LLLL) Workshop which will be held in Auckland this October.
If you could use some extra support implementing the explicit teaching of reading and spelling using the LLLL resources, attending this two-day workshop will give you all of the support you need to teach with confidence.
Find out what we’ll be covering each day below:
Day One
The first day will introduce the simple alphabetic code and extended consonant code – in line with our scope and sequence for a Year One classroom. You will learn about the science, theory and research underpinning LLLL.
Day Two
On day two, we will introduce the extended vowel code, as well as delve into morphology, vocabulary and grammatical knowledge. The scope and sequence for Year Two will be discussed in detail and fun hands-on activities are woven in throughout the day.
