Catch-up lists are designed to ACCELERATE students and enable them to join their peers in lessons from The Code at their current year level once these catch-up lists have been completed. 
 
Catch-up lists can be taught in Term 1 to students who need ACCELERATION or to the whole class as a REVIEW of previous learning. For students requiring acceleration, these lessons are crucial to support them in spelling for writing and will improve decoding for reading.
